i'm not too excited by the idea of nyc winter but i will get used to it. i need to prepare with this knitting project. i've found the link to extra instructions (which i usually need) and to the podcast which links to a PDF. but i cannot find this pattern. so i'll put the book on my amazon wishlist.
UPDATE: brian was ever so helpful in getting me access to the PDF. you can get it too!
ANOTHER UPDATE: i bought the book and it's great.

Though the book is worth getting, the pattern for the Scenester Hat-Scarf referenced at craftzine.com is included as a PDF download from the link in your post.
